Jorge is a chartered accountant with more than 28 years experience in public practice. Jorge immigrated to Australia in 2001 having spent 22 years with Deloitte & Touche in Zimbabwe, 14 of them as an audit partner. Jorge is currently the director of Audit Services for Stantons International. Jorge has extensive experience in the audits of public listed companies and major clients in a wide range of industries in the public and private sectors, including mining, retail, insurance, food and manufacturing. He has extensive international experience through his involvement in the audits of subsidiaries of companies based in the United Kingdom, South Africa, USA and Canada. Jorge’s experience since moving to Australia includes the provision of external and internal audit services to listed and private companies, due diligence reviews, the preparation of investigating accountant’s reports, valuations, corporate governance advice and litigation support. |
